When a problem with the CytoSMART® Lux2 occurs, an orange notification will appear with a message. One or multiple of the following messages can appear:
Please connect the device |
This message appears when there is no connection to the device. Check if the USB-cable is properly connected to the device and laptop. If the warning still appears after checking, please try a different USB 3.0-port of the laptop. |
Not charging |
The laptop is not charging. Please connect the laptop to a power supply. If the laptop turns off due to loss of power, the experiment will stop and no more images are taken. |
No internet |
This message appears when the software has been started but no internet is present. Make sure to connect the laptop to internet via WiFi or cable. All snapshots will be temporarily stored on the laptop until internet is restored. |
Device is connected. Please wait… |
This message indicates that a device is recently connected to the laptop, and the software is preparing the connection to the device. |
Disable the sleep mode before making changes to the settings. |
When you are trying to access the settings panel while the device is sleeping this message appears. Please tap or click on the screen to wake up the device. After the device has woken up, you can make adjustments to the settings. |
You can only change the setting when the device is connected. |
This message appears in case you try to access the channel settings panel while the device is not connected. Please make sure the USB-cable is properly connected to the device and laptop. |
